My stay at The Tennessean was a blend of luxury and warmth. The room had a lovely city view and was well-appointed, featuring a spacious bathroom and high-quality toiletries. While the valet service was a bit slow at times, the overall experience was elevated by the attentive staff and thoughtful touches, such as tea time and a surprise bottle of Prosecco. However, I was disappointed by the bar's early closing time and the lack of daily linen service, which slightly marred an otherwise wonderful experience.

Rooms

The King City view room was beautifully appointed, with a large bathroom and excellent shower pressure. I appreciated the thoughtful amenities like robes and slippers. However, the bed was softer than my husband's preference.
Service

The staff was generally friendly and accommodating, offering early check-in and providing cold drinks for our drive home. However, I experienced delays with valet service at times.

The hotel is conveniently located near downtown and the Knoxville Convention Center. While there are a few dining options, most require a short drive.
Dining

I enjoyed the evening tea time and found the breakfast options varied, but I was disappointed when the bar closed early, limiting my options for cocktails.
Facilities

The hotel boasted fantastic facilities, including a coffee shop and free shuttle service, but lacked a pool and daily housekeeping service, which was a letdown.

My stay at The Tennessean was a rollercoaster experience. The room was clean and beautifully designed with a fantastic bathroom layout, but I encountered some maintenance issues that dampened my overall vibe. Location-wise, it was spot-on, close to everything, making it easy for me to explore downtown Knoxville.

I loved the upscale vibe of my room, especially the spacious design with a separate toilet room and a large shower. However, I had some issues with a humming noise in my room and the shower wasn't consistent with temperature, which was frustrating.
Service

The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout my stay. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed, especially the guy at the front desk who was genuinely warm and talked to me like an old friend.
Location
10.0
The location was fantastic, just a stone's throw from downtown and all the great spots. I could easily walk to restaurants and Market Square, which made my trip so much better.
Dining

While I was focused on other activities, the hotel had some great dining options, especially steaks, which I wanna try next time. Room service looked appealing too, but I didn't take advantage of it on this trip.
Facilities

The valet was super helpful, and it was great that they took care of charging my electric car. I wish there were more electrical outlets by the bed, though; that was kinda odd for a newer spot.

My stay at The Tennessean was good. the hotel’s beautiful design and prime location near World's Fair Park truly elevated my experience. The spacious room was well-appointed, featuring a great shower and a comfortable bed. However, I did find the absence of an actual parking garage somewhat inconvenient, as I had to rely on valet services.

Rooms
9.0
My king room was spacious and had large windows that let in lots of natural light. The bathroom featured an oversized counter, and I particularly loved the Molton Brown hand wash. a luxurious touch! Despite the room's many amenities, I did notice there was only one charging plug available next to the bed.
Service
10.0
The service was attentive. from the friendly front desk staff to our valet who managed charging our electric car without issue. I felt welcomed and at home during my stay.
Location
9.0
I couldn't have asked for a better location. right across from the Knoxville Convention Center and just a short drive to Market Square's shops and dining. Everything I needed was close by!
Dining

While the hotel offers breakfast options in the drawing room and a coffee shop, I found the on-site restaurant to be overpriced for what was served. The charcuterie board was a letdown. not what I expected from such a luxury hotel.
Facilities

The facilities were impressive. offering valet parking, a shuttle service, and tons of amenities like laundry and dry cleaning. However, I did miss having a dedicated parking garage.

I had a mixed experience at The Tennessean Personal Luxury Hotel. On the positive side, the staff were really good, and my room was incredibly comfy with excellent soundproofing. However, the lack of self-parking options and a few service hiccups in dining left me disappointed. Overall, despite the higher price point, my stay had both good moments and noticeable flaws.

I had a great stay at The Tennessean, where the attentive staff and spacious room really stood out. The dining experience was unexpectedly good, with flavorful dishes that exceeded my expectations. However, some areas could use improvement, like the limited menu options and a need for more updates within the room facilities. Overall, it was a relaxing stay but not quite the luxury experience I had hoped for.
